2016 M-STEP Data Release:
The 2016 M-STEP Final Score Reports will be available mid- to late-August. There will also be available several reports through the Secure Site: • Individual Student Report (ISR) • Student Overview Report • Student Roster Report • Comprehensive Report • Demographic Comprehensive Report • Expectation Analysis Report (for science and social studies) • Parent Report
Printed Parent Reports for distribution to parents will be delivered to schools prior to the end of August. The new Target Analysis Report for ELA and mathematics will be available in the fall. All MI-Access reports will be available approximately 2 weeks after M-STEP reports are released.
Assessment and Accountability Fall Webcast
The agenda for the 2016 Student Assessment and Accountability Fall Webcast is available now on the Division of Accountability Services (DAS) web page (www.michigan.gov/ das). The webcast, which will be broadcast live from Wayne RESA on Monday, September 26, 2016 beginning at 8:30 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM, will feature a series of 45-minute topic-specific presentations delivered by DAS staff. The assessment department will provide a summary to staff of the important update and changes after the webcast
Fall Counselor and Implementation Workshops
A three-hour Counselor Workshops workshop will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 University of Michigan-Dearborn. This workshop is designed for counselors and will provide important College Board Program updates for the 2016–17 school year, including: SAT Suite of Assessments, how score reports can help students improve their college readiness skills, free official SAT practice on Khan Academy, and upcoming changes to the 2017–18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
